Quotepower Real time quote services - Discontinue Support of Microsoft Virtual Machine

Thank you for your continuous support to our Trading Services.

We are pleased to inform you that QuotePower Int'l Limited (QPI) will no longer support MSJVM starting from July 1st 2010. This change allows the RTQ services to take the benefit of richer functionality of new Sun JRE releases. To ensure a stable runtime environment for QPI real time quote services (Plan Q, S & P), MSJVM users are recommended to switch to the latest version of Sun JRE. Below please find relevant information to help you verify the type of virtual machine that you are using and the location to download Sun JRE.

Which version of virtual machine you are using?

1. Open the Internet Explore browser.

2. Click Tools > Internet Options > Advanced. (The Internet Options dialog box will appear).

3. Verify if Microsoft VM is listed. (You do not have MSJVM installed on your system if it is not listed. You are running Sun JRE if you have Java (Sun) checked and no action is required).

4. Uncheck Microsoft VM if it is checked.

5. Check Java (Sun).

6. Select Apply then OK. You need to restart your computer for the settings to take effect.

Where to download Sun JRE ?

If you do not have Sun JRE installed, please download the latest version of Sun JRE at http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp.
